Tubkaak Boutique Resort Review
Tubkaak Boutique Resort was the pure embodiment of relaxation. It had a beautiful Thai aesthetic paired with the natural beauty of being set within a forest. The staff at Tubkaak provide their guests with everything that they could ever want in a quiet retreat from canoes that they can use whenever they please to a morning yoga class on the front lawn overlooking the ocean. We only stayed here for one night, but it made me never want to leave.

Tubkaak had both an Italian and a Thai restaurant that their guests could choose from. They also had a happy hour that allowed you to get two for one cocktails or beers. I got an Amaretto Sour and Chris got a Caribou Lou and they were both some of the best drinks we ever had. For dinner we decided on the Italian restaurant and shared a pizza. The Italian restaurant's setting and vibe was so lovely and romantic. It reminded me of Lady and the Tramp with checkered table clothes and over-hanging lights. The pizza was delicious and tasted authentically Italian.
They also provided free breakfast in the morning. They had fresh fruit and coffee and a chef making french toast, pancakes, and eggs, so pretty much anything you could ever ask for.
I've never been to a hotel that provided their guests with more accommodations from the free drinks in our mini fridge to our own private pool with jacuzzi jets and outdoor tub filled with rose petals. The room was so relaxing and beautiful, it made me never want to leave.
There was so much to do at the resort that it almost seemed like you didn't have to leave to enjoy a full Thailand experience (of course I highly don't recommend doing that). Besides the yoga and the canoes, Tubkaak will help you plan trips to neighboring Islands, such as the beautiful Chicken Island to snorkel. Otherwise, you could have a perfectly fun filled day relaxing on their private beach or swimming in their pool and being handed Pina Coladas whenever you please.
The service was outstanding and everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. We felt welcomed from the moment we stepped foot into the resort the moment we were waved-off.
Staying at Tubkaak was one of the highlights of our trip so far. If you want some quiet, peaceful time to relax and rejuvenate then I would highly recommend a stay here.
