The Shoreline Hotel Waikiki
The Shoreline Hotel focuses around the customer experience. Although it is quite a simple hotel, we found ourselves delighted with every aspect of how they treated us to ensure that we were satisfied at every turn.
I loved how many perks The Shoreline Hotel provided, such as the complimentary Arnold Palmer, infused raspberry lime water and cucumber water, as well as coffee provided in the lobby at all hours. On top of this, complimentary snacks were set out during midday such as hand-crafted cotton candy and trail mix. It made me think of how the little things really are what count towards making a guest feel welcome.
The room we stayed in was lovely. It was large and had a desk and couch, as well as a flat screen TV. The bed was also really comfortable and despite not being able to see the beach, we really enjoyed our view of the city lights from our window.
One of my favorite aspects of The Shoreline Hotel was its rooftop pool, which overlooked Waikiki from all directions. From there you could see the ocean, the adjacent green hills as well as all of the city. The pool is also a deep, dark blue, which I find to be really beautiful (especially for photos).
The Shoreline Hotel is connected to Heavenly an adorable little restaurant/bar. The beachy decor is enough to go, but you'd definitely stay for the amazing drinks and food. We got a few happy hour aps and mojitos and let me tell you the mojitos were some of the best I've ever had.
The Shoreline Hotel is located slightly inland, which I really enjoyed as it meant you weren't spit out directly into the Main Street that can get really busy. However, you are close enough to only be a few minutes from the beach as well as the plethora of restaurants and stores that make up the main Waikiki Strip.
The Shoreline Hotel provides all the comfort you could need. I never felt for want at this lovely hotel and felt very taken care of.
