Planning a Group Vegas Trip

Planning a Group Vegas Trip

The most important thing to keep in mind when planning a group Vegas trip is that the point of it is to bond as a group and spend time together! This can get tricky when everyone has separate rooms and so you need to coordinate. In the past, I've always booked rooms at one of Vegas's famous hotels like the TI or Caesar's Palace. This of course, had its pros like being extremely close to the action. However, it also had its cons. Namely, that as a big group we were scattered throughout the hotel and it was difficult to coordinate, especially the later the night got. We also didn't have a communal place for us to all hangout in without everyone cramming into one hotel room, which definitely wasn't the most comfortable. Because of that, this time around I opted to plan things a little differently.

Renting an AirBnB in Vegas

Yep, that's right! We all decided to pitch in and rent an AirBnB that was only 10 minutes away from the strip. We were a group of 12 and so even though it was a huge villa, each person only paid $50 for two nights, which is much cheaper than getting a nice hotel room! It was also great to wake up together, make breakfast and later in the day, pregame together and all hangout before heading to the strip. If you're interested in this option, then simply go to Airbnb.com and search for Villas in the area.

Getting to the Strip and Back in Style

If you're going to all stick together, might as well get a ride to the strip and back together in style! We opted to rent a party bus from Vegas Only Party Bus Limos and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! The Party Bus came with a bottle of Ciroq and split between 12 people was actually cheaper than taking an Uber. Why not make getting to the party a party itself? Getting into Clubs With a Group

The thing about Vegas is that it's slightly (okay really) skewed towards the girls, meaning that if you're a girl, you can get into any club free without any effort at all. However,  there is one Vegas hack that allows you to get a whole group into a club, even if there's some guys. The important thing is that there has to be at minimum a 1 to 1 girl to guy ratio so if you have more guys than girls in your group consider inviting a few more girls to join! After that, you simply have to search around for what's called "Club Promoters". I did this simply by looking at the Instagram accounts of clubs like The Marquee and XS, as well as the pictures of people who set their location to Las Vegas. I easily found promoters that commented on these pictures and all I had to do was text the number that was on their account. I was able to get on the guest list of prospective clubs, meaning that our group got to get into the clubs for free! The one caveat is that your group has to get their between 10pm-1:30am, which is well before the big name DJs play so you'll have to be patient. That being said, ladies often get free drinks so at least you'll have something to do in the meantime ;)
