The Four Seasons Las Vegas

When I figured out that the best way to head towards Colorado from So-Cal was through Las Vegas, I immediately came to the conclusion that it was necessary to spend at least one day in Sin City and what better place to relax in luxury than The Four Seasons. Many people don't think of the Four Seasons when they think of Vegas, opting more for the themed resorts like The Mirage or Treasure Island. However, what I liked so much about the Four Seasons Las Vegas was the fact that you can escape from the smoky casinos, bright flashing lights and crazy Vegas vibe and enter into a classical, quiet escape. However, the second you wanted to participate in the wild side of Vegas, it was only a skip over to get to the center of the strip.

The Room

The room was simple, but beautiful. However, the best part was the view! The Four Seasons arguably has the best view in all of Las Vegas, as it sits on top of Mandalay Bay! We could see all the way down the strip and then some and of course at night with all of the sparkling lights it was a sight to see!

The Pool

What is a Vegas hotel without the pool? Chris and I spent a considerable amount of time lounging at the pool, receiving pool side service and soaking in the sun. Filled with palm trees and adorned with a waterfall, the Four Seasons Las Vegas Pool is nothing, but luxury. If you'd like, you can also rent out a private cabana for the day and really live like a king!

The Food

We dined at The Veranda, which truly had to be the highlight of our Vegas experience. Chef Antonio Minichello is known for his delicate preparation, visual appeal and Italian fare with a twist. I started with scallops and sparkling rosé and felt pampered beyond! When the scallops came, I almost didn't want to eat them because the presentation was to pretty! For my main course I got the Ahi Tuna, which was also melt in your mouth, divine.

If you want a relaxing, luxurious escape then the Four Seasons provides a haven for those who would like a little peace in their Vegas trip. I highly recommend staying there for those who would like to feel refreshed and invigorated, while also wanting to be close to the Vegas action!
