What to Pack on a Campervan Trip With Jucy

Traveling via campervan is a different experience than any other type of traveling. You’re always on the go and your space is limited when it comes to what you can store. Luckily, Jucy makes it easy for you to stay on top of your gam as their campervans have so much hidden storage space that you can optimize. Here is a list of things I brought during my ten day trip from Cairns to Sydney that I was so happy I thought of!

Hygiene Products

This is a no brainer, but you might want to pick up some travel sized ones so they don’t take up a huge amount of room in the campervan. You’ll have access to showers all along the way so you won’t have to go without feeling clean on the trip. I’d definitely also bring along a pair of flip flops that you can wear in the showers!

It gets hot out there and making sure your skin is protected is super important!

Breakfast Bars

Eating out for breakfast can get expensive so having some quick and easy breakfast bars on hand was great  to get the day started without going out to eat in the morning.

Laundry Bag

If you’re on the road for more than a week then it’s nice to be able to separate your dirty clothes from your clean ones by caring a separate bag, especially wet swimsuits!

De-wrinkler Spray

This isn’t exactly a necessity, but if you want to look like you haven’t been sleeping in a van, having unwrinkled clothes is a good place to start! Dewrinkler Spray is a must have for me. I just spray the clothes I’m going to wear in the morning and they’re miraculously look like they’ve been cleanly pressed!

I’m so glad we decided to get one of these! Although you can leave the AC on in your Jucy van, that definitely will use up your gas! Instead Chris and I bought little handheld fans that we could plug into the bag of the van. It provided great air circulation and made it super breezy and comfortable!

Jucy will provide you a GPS for a low cost and I recommend taking one so that you never get lost! Although you are pretty taking one highway all the way down, there are definitely some scenic routes that you have the option of taking and some of the best activities are slightly out of the way.

Organizer Bags

It’s pretty hard to stay organized when you’re living in a camper van and only have a suitcase. You can get organizer bags from Amazon for super cheap and they’ll help you stay organized by putting your stuff in certain categories! That way, for example when you want socks, you can easily find them in a designated bag instead of searching around your suitcase for them!

Bonus: An Adventurous Spirit!

Traveling by campervan isn’t the easiest thing in the world. It arguably would be easier to just book a hotel and stay in one spot, but people choose the campervan life because of how amazing it is to be able to rest your head anywhere and wake up in a new spot with a new adventure on the horizon everyday! An adventurous spirit is required!
